David was my "first" boyfriend in 5th grade- so cute with curly black hair! I will never forget that I sent him a "love note" which Miss DeSantis, our teacher, intercepted and put on the bulletin board--I never forgave her!!!
So happy to see David again at our 50th reunion and to see that he was still a handsome man and really nice, too!
Oh Sherry, it's funny what we remember from our younger days. Dave was a really nice guy and handsome to boot. Sounds like he was quite an enterpreneur in his adult life. Rest in peace.
I remember Dave as the youngest (I believe) of the "rough and tough" Haney boys from over in the Kingdom section of Van Buren. I was so pleased to seem him at our 50th reunion --- looking good, successful, and with a lovely wife.

My memory of David was his smile and sweetness. Anyone who knew him was very fortunate. Blessings to his family.
