The following are details of the Baldwinsville Class of 1962, Baker High School 60th Reunion planned for this Fall.

Happy Hour: We will gather between 4 and 6 pm at The Wood for a Happy Hour, conversation, and reconnecting with fellow classmates. It will be a cash bar so you can order the beverage of your choice.
Restaurant Gatherings: During Happy Hour you can sign up for our “Restaurant Gatherings” where we will have 6:30 pm reservations at several different local restaurants for groups of 8 people. This is where you can dine and enjoy more personal conversations with some of your classmates. There will be a sign-up sheet for each restaurant and a copy of their menu so you can pick which one you would like to attend. Restaurants will provide separate checks for each person / couple.
We are also recruiting “local” classmates who will coordinate your dining experience, and hopefully bring some “local color” to the conversation. If you live in the Greater Baldwinsville area and would be willing to coordinate one of our groups, please call, text or email Karen 315-440-6508, kwwinters@gmail.com by August 1.
Golf: We are coordinating with The Wood and Hickory Hill golf courses for tee times on Friday and Saturday prior to Happy Hour. We are also checking on miniature golf options at Hickory Hill. If you are interested in playing either type of golf, please contact Dave Disinger @ 315-289-0678 by August 1, and indicate which day and type of golf you would like to play. More details to follow. At this time, we are just trying to assess the interest. You will be able to pay directly to the golf course if you decide to participate.

Happy Hour: We will gather between 6 and 7 pm at Tassone’s Wine Garden for a Happy Hour, conversation, and reconnecting with fellow classmates. Again, this will be a cash bar so you can order the beverage of your choice. Note: You can attend this event even if you decide not to stay for the Banquet Dinner that follows.
Banquet Dinner: This will be the main event of our Reunion, and you must make a reservation to participate. Cost will be $35 per person to include entrée of your choice listed below, dessert, coffee, tea, water. We are requesting reservations and payment by August 20. You will be able to make reservations and pay with a credit card on our website: www.charleswbaker62.com. If you prefer to mail a check (made payable to "Baker Class of 1962"), you can send to Rheta Crandon Jenks, 117 Overlook Drive, Baldwinsville, NY 13027.
Menu Choices: All Entrees served with warm Italian bread, butter and a fresh garden salad or soup.
o Chicken Parmigiana: Boneless breast of chicken, breaded and baked with their house sauce and mozzarella cheese.
o Italian Platter: A large platter of spaghetti, lasagna, ziti, sausage, meatball and chicken served with their house Italian sauce.
o Fresh Haddock: Broiled or deep-fried. Served with coleslaw.
o Vegetarian: Option will be available.
o Gluten Free Options are available, please ask.
o Dessert: We will have a special “60th Reunion” cake to help us celebrate this significant event.
o Beverage: Coffee, tea and water are included.
Zoom Get Together
We are planning a special Zoom meeting with those classmates who are unable to attend our 60th Reunion in person. We are working on the logistics. Stay tuned for more information.
Scholarship Donations
The 60th Reunion Planning Committee has decided to solicit donations from classmates to create a Class of 1962 Scholarship for one (or hopefully several) Baldwinsville seniors. Based on our experience we know the value of education and how it can impact lives. If you are able and interested in making a donation, this option is available on our website. You can contribute whether or not you plan to attend our 60th Reunion. THANK YOU.
