From high school.. Butch went to college at Onondaga Community College, then he went into the Navy, going into the SeaBees. After being in the service at Midway and Vietnam.. he was sent to Japan and was married to Kathy Barclay. After the Navy, he moved back to MiddleTown, VA . where he finished his education. .. He then went on to work for the Dept of the Navy, where he sold real estate for the US government.. He also worked at the Pentagon during that time.. He had two boys, Carl Jr.. who is a pilot for Fed Ex, and Sean Patrick, who is a business owner. He had two marriages, Kathy Barclay and Donna Lowery.
Debbie, Thanks for sharing Carl's journey. You guys were neighbors to us when we lived at the "Pump House" on Canton Street. Don't know how long Carl lived in Middletown, VA, but we are about 5 miles away from there at Lake Frederick since 2012. Karen Wormuth Winters
So sorry to hear of Butch’s passing. We all lived on Mildred Avenue and had the best of times playing softball, usually in the lot between Harry Garret’s house and mine.
