Debra, So very sorryfor your loss. Al was a wonderful person. Always greeted you with a smile. If you were having a bad day you always felt so much better after your visit. Al used to stop by and visit with me when I was working at the supply store. I felt stunned when I seen your message;he will be missed.
Al sat in front of me in Mrs Goodfellow's Latin Class. She had a map of Gaul on a pulldown over the blackboard and the last 10 minutes of class was Latin history. Her 'pointer' had a hook on the tip which she would use to pull down the map begind her.
Al had somehow taped a Playboy centerfold on the map and on said day Mae Goodfellow pulled down Gaul and revealed a different spread. She was so kerfluffeled that instead of putting the map up she stood in front of it with arms outstreatched and ordered us all to' close our eyes'.
